History of Art on Demand

Philosophy and Contemporary Art and Art in the West: 20th Century workshops are now available on demand

I do too many things. I think it was this personality trait that led me to study Diderot, a philosopher who was interested in everything. Certainly my range of interests is much more restricted than his, who was an encyclopedist; nevertheless, those who are not aware of the permanent whirlwind in my head get confused.

This restlessness brings me to this end-of-the-year offering of five different on-demand courses that were launched in just four months. They Arte e natureza (Art and Nature), Imagem e identidade (Image and identity), Arte na França (Art in France), Filosofia e arte contemporânea (Philosophy and Contemporary Art), and Arte no ocidente – Século 20 (Art in the West: 20th Century).

The subjects are quite different, but the courses have something in common: they are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year: you can watch them whenever you feel like it. Content availability is one of the most wonderful things the online world offers. In education this resource is as amazing as it is revolutionary.

Many people complain that the timing of my courses are not compatible with their schedules or that they cannot afford them at some specific date! These setbacks are no longer an issue: on-demand courses can be taken at any time and place, participants get certificates, and their price is much more affordable than live courses, whether in person or online.

It is quite true that the on-demand modality doesn’t offer interaction and the joy of knowledge built in a group of different people working together. But that doesn’t mean that anyone taking a course like this is on their own. We offer assistance, clarification, and support materials that open many different windows for research.

Another advantage of on-demand courses is promotions. Special discounts can make access easier to available courses.

As a reminder, any teachers and students who are subscribed to my webesite have a 50% discount in all live and on-demand courses.
